Squad Training & Fight Club: September’s Fight Club was an absolute blast! We had a great mix of members, with some outstanding match ups, especially between more experienced fighters and those just starting out. The higher belts did a fantastic job pushing the newer members, helping them improve with each round.
Recently, we’ve added a new twist to Fight Club—members have been stepping up as cornermen, offering tips, strategies, and advice to those in the ring. This has been a great way to help fighters better understand their opponents' weaknesses and refine their own skills. Even instructor James was taking feedback from the members, impressed by how far everyone has come. It’s clear that the focus on technique and strategy has elevated our sparring beyond just another brawl.
Member Mention: Although not officially part of the team (yet), Ash Stone, a talented singer/songwriter, has recently released a new track titled “Make it Happen Now.” If you watch the music video, you might notice some familiar locations—Ash chose to film at the Elemental Fitness facilities! The video explores themes of staying true to oneself, pursuing dreams, and the importance of intrinsic motivation and discipline—values we embrace every day while training our members and clients to better themselves.
Thank you, Ash, for selecting Elemental Fitness & Elemental Kickboxing Leeds as the backdrop for your latest single. We wish you all the best on your musical journey! Curious to see Ash in action at the club? Check out the video!
