Kickboxing Classes

Facilities: Aside from running the show, teaching kickboxing classes, and taking personal training sessions, it turns out David also been moonlighting as our resident graphic designer!

Thanks to David's talents (and perhaps a touch of caffeine), we're jazzing up our gym with a fresh batch of posters. These eye-catching additions will showcase the array of services, offers, and benefits available to you as members. From exclusive discounts to upcoming events and special promotions, consider these posters your friendly reminders of all the goodies waiting for you at Elemental Fitness

So next time you're in the gym, be sure to take a moment to admire David's handiwork.

Fight Club: The latest Fight Club gathering on the 20th saw a mix of fresh faces and returning originals we haven't seen in some time. With a smaller group, there was heightened attention on the fights and strategies employed. Notably, members took on the roles of referees, providing valuable insights into what makes a winning bout.

Our next Fight Club event is scheduled for May 18th. But for those eager to elevate their skills, mark your calendars for squad training on May 4th. Don't forget to engage with our instructors and check out the resources provided below to delve deeper into these specialized classes.

Member Mention: Over the coming weeks, Lewis will be transitioning from a regular class member to a valued class assistant, enhancing the experience for everyone involved. You'll find Lewis working closely with lead instructor David, lending a helping hand, and bringing added value to our sessions.

Lewis's responsibilities will encompass various aspects of class management, including:

-Supporting lead instructors in their tasks

-Assisting with teaching through demonstrations, activity setup, and clean-up

-Collaborating on session planning

-Engaging directly with students during line work and partner exercises, offering guidance for improvement

-Taking the lead on warm-ups, stretches, and cool downs.

-Occasionally sharing training insights with the lead instructor and leading short segments of the class as needed for the benefit of our members.

Additionally, Lewis will actively participate in class activities, fostering motivation and support throughout the session.

Thank you, Lewis, for stepping into this role. We eagerly anticipate your growth and contributions within the club!
