Hello EKA Warriors,

We have some exciting news to share as we hit the height of summer! Congratulations to everyone who completed their recent grading events—your hard work and dedication truly shine.

We're also introducing changes to our syllabus and grading system to enhance your training experience. Plus, we're hiring for new class instructors to join our dynamic team!

Class Changes: Unfortunately, the Monday evening adults mixed abilities class at 6pm will be temporarily cancelled from Monday 1st July 2024 and return from Monday 2nd September 2024.

Stu has decided to take a break from instructing at the EKA, creating an opportunity for us to find a suitable replacement. Despite our efforts, we have not yet identified a new instructor. Therefore, considering the current low-class numbers and the expected impact of the summer holiday period, we have decided to extend our search. Our goal is to have a new instructor in place by September, when we anticipate classes will resume with normal attendance based on previous trends.

Rest assured that no other classes will be affected by this change. We understand that this news may be disappointing to some. However, please remember that the gym will still be open for independent training, and personal training sessions if of interest. We remain committed to supporting your development in martial arts and encourage you to train an alternative night throughout this period.

May we take this opportunity to thank Stu for his commitment to the club and wish him the best for the future. For anyone who may miss Stu, you will continue to see him around the gym training.

EKA Gets Gold: A huge congratulations to club member and assistant instructor Leon for winning his fight and bringing the gold medal home!
