Greetings, everyone!

Happy New Year! We hope you had a fantastic holiday season filled with joy and relaxation. The Elemental Fitness and EKA Team is back, fully recharged, and we're diving into 2024 with some major changes – and yes, they're even more significant than the new gym area!

Classes are back in action, laser-focused on gearing you up for the March Grading. Brace yourselves for intense, purpose-driven sessions designed to elevate your skills and set the tone for a powerful year ahead.

Personal Training clients, get ready for a shock to the system! There's no easing into the year – it's straight back to hitting personal bests and relishing the satisfying soreness that follows a workout.

While there's always time for downtime and indulging in pigs in blankets, Lindor chocolates, and glasses of sherry, now is the moment to harness that energy and embark on a journey to a stronger, healthier you.

Kickboxing Classes

Fight Club: In the previous Fight Club session on December 9th, participants delved into strategic approaches for setting up fundamental attacks, putting their newly acquired knowledge to the test in the ring. As the grading period commenced a week later, a clear distinction emerged between those actively participating in Fight Club and those abstaining. Attendees exhibited a noticeable surge in their fight IQ, underscoring the tangible benefits of engaging in these sessions.

To optimize your experience, it's advisable to secure your spot early for upcoming sessions—don't miss out on this invaluable opportunity. The sessions serve as an excellent platform for refining your sparring skills, allowing you to showcase your prowess as a martial artist.

EKA Challenge: Ryan has prepped the class challenges. Having a penchant for acronyms here is what to expect in the January.

N - Ninja Kicks: Practice high kicks, imagining you are a ninja in training. (30 seconds)

E – Elbow plank (30 seconds)

W - Wacky Walks: Walk in silly ways, such as walking sideways or backward.

Y - Yoga Poses: Try simple yoga poses like the tree pose or downward dog. (30 seconds)

E – Elbow plank (30 seconds)

A - Animal Walks: Pretend to be different animals while walking, such as bears, frogs, or crabs. (30 seconds each)

R - Rocket Jumps: Squat down and then jump up like a rocket, reaching for the sky. (30 seconds)
