COVID-19 Company Procedures

To ensure Elemental Fitness Ltd is helping to reduce the risk of the transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19) please can all clients read our new procedures below. We wish to maintain our friendly atmosphere but encourage all members to adhere to our procedures to ensure we all keep safe.

COVID-19 Procedures Personal Training

- Continue to monitor the number of people entering the facility at any one time with a maximum number of 6 up to and including 20.08.20 plus employee’s and/or subcontractors.

- To continue with our existing bookings system for personal training clients to attend their scheduled appointments limiting the number of members in the facility at any one time.

- To politely request personal training clients only attend the facility when they have an appointment, and where possible enter the facility up to a maximum of 10 minutes before their session and wait in the designated waiting area.

- To politely request personal training clients to exit the facility within 10 minutes of their session ending to avoid congregating inside

- To reduce usage of the changing facilities we advise all clients to arrive dressed to train and shower at home where possible

- Floor stickers will be present. Please maintain 2 meters distance between each other when possible

- Elemental Fitness Ltd will be providing 1 touchless hand sanitising unit by the entrance of the facility, please can all members use this when the enter the facility.

- Elemental Fitness Ltd will be providing 3 cleaning stations around the facility, they include a touchless hand sanitising unit, blue roll and disinfectant. All clients will be required to wipe their equipment after use.

- The entire facility will be deep cleaned every day with a combination of disinfectant and steam cleaned.

- Clients will be required to provide their own towels and gloves (if needed) for one to one training.

- Our fans will be running regularly bringing air in from outside, and when possible internal and external doors will be kept open to increase airflow and reduce client contact with door handles etc

- Please refrain from touching equipment and surfaces unnecessarily, in particularly the mirrors

- PPE will be available for employees, subcontractors of Elemental Fitness Ltd for times when social distancing cannot be achieved, such as inductions and measurement days.

- Clients of Elemental Fitness will be required to bring their own face masks when social distancing cannot be achieved, such as inductions and measurement days.

- Face masks and/or face shields will be available for employees and/or subcontracts of Elemental Fitness Ltd for personal training services.

- Should personal training clients wish to wear PPE outside of inductions and measurement days, please bring your own.

- A thermal camera has been installed in the entrance/internal corridor and will sound an alarm should you have a temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius. If the alarm sounds you will be required to leave the gym and wait outside for 5 minutes before trying again, if the alarm sounds again a third attempt will be advised. If the alarm sounds a third time, in the interest of safety, you will be required to leave the facility and not return for 10 days, if symptoms of coronovirus occur within this time please follow the guidance below. Any session bookings that fall within this time frame will be postponed free of charge.

- Whilst we require 24 hours notice for cancelled or rescheduled sessions, should you display symptoms of coronavirus please let us know as soon as possible and we will postpone any sessions for 14 days free of charge. Please adhere to all government advice regarding this.

- Where local lockdowns are concerned, advice will be given on a case by case basis. Please contact us directly if you have any questions.

COVID-19 Procedures Group Classes

- Continue to monitor the number of people entering the facility at any one time with a maximum number of 12 per group class +2 new members (if required) plus 1 or 2 employees and/or subcontractors (instructor)

- To implement a bookings system (more information to follow) for members of group classes to book and attend their scheduled group class limiting the number of members in the facility at any one time

- To continue providing 15-30 minutes between each group class to allow members to exit the building before new members arrive

- To politely request group class members only attend the facility when they have a group class booking, and where possible enter the facility up to a maximum of 10 minutes before their group class begins and wait on the designated floor sticker on the mats to reduce congregating on the walkways.

- To politely request group class members exit the facility within 10 minutes of class ending to avoid congregating inside

- To reduce usage of the changing facilities we advise all clients to arrive dressed to train and shower at home where possible

- Members will be required to provide their own towels, focus pads and gloves (if needed) for group class training. As a preliminary plan close contact work such as grappling and sparring will be avoided until 20.11.20, therefore members will not be required to bring any of their own sparring equipment reducing clutter in the facility and opening walkways. Please note we will bring this forwards if possible subject to government advice.

- Any equipment that is used during class will be left in a separate location for cleaning before returning to their usual storage point

- Our fans will be running regularly bringing air in from outside, and when possible internal and external doors will be kept open to increase airflow and reduce client contact with door handles etc

- Please refrain from touching equipment and surfaces unnecessarily, in particularly the mirrors

- Parents and carers of children and vulnerable adults can attend group sessions and spectate if required, however where possible we encourage all members to attend training on their own. Please help us save space by allowing parents and carers of the young and new members to spectate the classes only.

- Face masks and/or face shields will be available for employees and/or subcontracts of Elemental Fitness Ltd for all group classes.

- Should members of group classes wish to wear PPE, please bring your own.

- Whilst the group classes require 28 days notice for pausing or cancelling membership, should you display symptoms of coronavirus please let us know as soon as possible and we will carry forwards any training you miss as a result and/or use any credit you accrue as a result towards other services or products within Elemental Fitness Ltd. Please adhere to all government advice regarding this.

COVID-19 Test and Trace

To assist with the national effort of test and trace of coronavirus (COVID-19) all members of Elemental Fitness Ltd will be required to complete our enrolment forms providing up to date contact information on their first visit. In the event of a confirmed case from a member or employee of Elemental Fitness Ltd, all can be contacted and advised to take the necessary steps subject to the advice we receive.
