Celebrating June 2024 Gradings!

A Great Display of Dedication and Skill at Our Recent Gradings!
With a total of 27 members stepping up to challenge themselves, our recent gradings were a fantastic showcase of dedication and skill. Congratulations to all our members!

Performance Highlights:
Natasha Glew: Showed excellent defensive work and power for a newcomer.
Jacob Lunn & Chloe Todd: Demonstrated great technical proficiency in shadow sparring, with impressive execution of jumping kicks.
Jacob Sarwar: Excelled in shadow sparring with full commitment.
Aliza Shah: Maintained high technical standards and showed incredible progression into light continuous sparring.
Nico Smith: Demonstrated incredible physical fitness and sparring ability with great energy.
Oliver Todd: Exemplified technical proficiency and club spirit with full attire and sparring equipment.
Bethany Todd: Confidently performed the revised green belt kata form.
Sharon Robinson-Marsh: Scored high marks with her interpretation of the junior purple belt kata form.
Dani Raw: Showed clear and confident demonstrations and rapid progress in light continuous sparring.
Junior Brown Belt Candidates: Overall the musical kata forms were outstanding for this level, showcasing technical ability, imagination, expression, and interpretation of the music.
Instructor Feedback
Personalized feedback is available from the examiner. The club continues to progress and develop its training standards with each grading. Notable mentions include impressive kata performances and light continuous sparring. Members are encouraged to attend various classes to gain relevant experience and become well-rounded martial artists. Remember to wear the full club kit and belt, and own your sparring gear for red belt and above.
